History

The journey of Jin He Jia began in the year of 2017. The idea of the company name comes from Hokkien (Chinese Dialects) “Jin Ho Jiak” which means delicious.

Since we are in the F&B industry, we want others to think of us when they think of delicious food. Because of the homophony and meaning of the name, we decided to use this name as our company name Jin He Jia.

Initiated precisely in 2017, the company located in Ayer Itam, Penang, started as the exclusive distributor of Bangkok Cookies, a Rice Cookies product from Thailand. We have created close-knit relationships with both front-end and back-end as the prime priority. We have become distributors of many other brands after gaining recognition from channels in the same industry.

Lastly, the company is looking forward to and expecting a more glorious business in years to come.

    A journey that began from a 400 sqft small office underneath an apartment. This journey also started from this 23 years old couple who met each other in high school.

    Initiated precisely in 2017, we started as the exclusive distributor of Bangkok Cookies, a premium rice cookies product from Thailand.

    We expanded our product range to cater diverse customer. We have become distributors of many other brands after gaining recognition from channels in the same industry.

    The gradual increase expansion required larger storage space, we moved to a larger landed shoplot at Raja Uda Butterhworth.

    We officially established our e commerce platform.
  • 2020-2021
    Due to pandemic of COVID-19, we started to enter FMCG industry. It was a crisis but also an opportunity for us to transform and reform our business.

    As the business expanded, the first 3 tonne truck was equipped and following year 1 tonne truck was bought in.

    To accommodate expansion and to meet market demand, we move into 12,000 sqft warehouse at Permatang Pauh.

    And this year we also start to cater more international market.

    We will continue reaching out to wider base of customer across the region and continue exporting more exciting Malaysian products for people around the world.
